Eni-PTFE ( Electroless nickel-phosphorous-polytetrafluoroethylene ) plating is a special plating solution which is ideal for outdoor applications.
For outdoor applications, weather resistance, corrosion resistance as well as waterproof function are the most important.
Eni-PTFE can withstand temperature 500°F (260°C) and has excellent wear, corrosion and friction resistance.
Corrosion resistance for different plating solutions :
– General Nickel plating : About 48 hours
– Cheminal Nickel plating : About 72 hours
– Eni-PTFE plating : Up to 200 hours (or more)
In addition, the finish of Eni-PTFE is low reflective. That makes it perfect for military applications and police equipment such as police walkie talkie.
